Available from Harrods for pampered dogs: a Dri-Dog bag in soft towelling to pop the pet in after wet, muddy walks; a jogging suit available in three sizes with the exclusive ‘H’ monogrammed on the side; a Sherlock Holmes outfit, designed by an American dogswear couturier, complete with tartan collar, cape and deerstalker hat.

Fashion queen Donna Karan’s empire is going to the dogs. Despite rumors that Karan’s menswear line is sagging from poor sales, she and her staff have found the time to consider how to outfit more than just wealthy fashion slaves. The result: DK9, a line of dogswear.

With dogs this perspicacious, it is a happy coincidence that two designers recently launched their own dogswear label, Doggy Style, seen this season at the NCDL stand at the Cosmo show.

[Paris] Hilton created a line of dogswear called Paris Hilton by Little Lily, with some of the proceeds going to benefit animal rescue.
