Hoop-jumper

So, hoop-jumper that I was, I wrote the following: “This will eventually be part of a longer piece that will explore the Foundation for Spiritual Knowledge in Tallahassee, Florida, which is a group of local people in training to be mediums and spirituals ^([sic]) healers.

Also, I know that confidence overflows into making me less motivated to be a hoop-jumper and more dedicated to being an effective and caring teacher looking to find that wiggle room to execute meaningful instruction and to execute change where it's needed.

She laughs and says, “I'm a champion hoop-jumper,” referring to her success in working within the church, various certification agencies and health care organizations.

On the other hand, law can be an irresistible temptation to the hoop-jumper who sees mere fulfillment of a set of precepts as sufficient to ensure that one is a good person who has done the right thing.
