Pushable

On a hall just off the clinic’s main corridor are two small rooms; one is nearly filled with a child-sized round table and chairs and packed with crayons, paints, and miscellaneous arts and craft supplies. Pushing disk or ball on the floor using the “whisker” demands constant focus beyond the usual nearpoint of focus into less set depth judgment of intermediate space. Smaller, less color contrast or ball pushables on less smooth surfaces increase the demand; bottle caps, coins, marbles, or superballs make good pushables.
