Spellmaster

The spellmasters control powerful forces which we can use in the assault on the monster when it reaches Homeground.

Mendark is very old and Havissard nearly killed him. He was forced to renew himself, though he knew it was one time too many. It was not a complete success, and the best spellmasters in Thurkad have not been able to undo the damage.

The powerful empire has decided to destroy all the negative karma in the world, but Master Fuzen, the leader of a rogue clan of spellmasters, has foreseen that the spell will fail and will destroy the world instead.

Among the diversions will be an old-time spelling bee, captained by Frank H. Goodfellow, for the first twenty-five years, and by John B. Elliott for the last twenty-five years. Hon. James H. Craig of Harrisburg will be the spellmaster.

The spellmaster was Beaumont superintendent Maureen Latham, who who read the words and used them in sentences for the contestants.

A group of board members has been putting together a list of words for the spelling bee, and Rothschild said during the event the spellmaster will pronounce each word, define it, use it in a sentence and then repeat it.
