Splatty

Gulls cawed and wheeled overhead, dropping splatty white cluster bombs on rooftops and pavements. Goodness knows what those gulls eat, but it certainly keeps them regular.

There's a story line involving goofy-geeky groupies of the master detective (Benedict Cumberbatch) and their outlandishly Mission: Impossible-esque theories about how Holmes might have survived his spectacularly splatty “demise.”
