Totchos

Basic bar standards like quesadillas, sliders, Caesar salad, chicken fingers, hummus and YAY! They've got totchos!

These kicked-up tots (such as Tater Tots) nachos, a.k.a. totchos, are my homage to our Sunday night nacho feasts. Serve the braised steak over the totchos, or you can even skip the tots and use this meat in tacos, burritos, classic nachos, or add a couple more cans of tomatoes (or some beef stock) and a can or two of pinto or black beans for a hearty ropa vieja stew.

“Totchos!” Turbo was howling and reaching before the plate hit the table, and the race was on. Turbo and D-Tay, both now aged ten in spirit, grabbed and shoveled at a plate full of Newberry's specialty, a heaping helping of tater tots laced with ground beef, cheese, tomatoes, and salsa.
